Star opener Najmul Hossain Shanto has been named captain, replacing rested players Litton Das and Tamim Iqbal. During the Asia Cup, he was in excellent form, scoring 89 and 104 runs against Sri Lanka and Afghanistan before being disqualified. Shanto will aim to get off to a winning start as the 16th player to captain his nation in ODIs.

2. Mehidy Hasan Miraz:-

Mehidy Hasan Miraz, a star all-arounder, will return for the third game after taking a break for the first two. Like in the Asia Cup, he will start the inning. Miraz has performed admirably as Shakib Al Hasan's stand-in and has been effective with both the bat and the ball. Before leaving for the World Cup, he will be anxious to play in few games and put on a strong showing.

3. Tanzid Hasan:-

Tanzid Hasan appeared to be in terrific shape for his 12-ball 16 in the previous game, but he was out trying to boost the ante. However, he will aim to perform better this time. After some strong domestic and BPL performances, Hasan was given his chance. He is a self-assured player who wants to stand out so that he might receive more opportunities in the future.

4. Mahmudullah:-

Mahmudullah was reinstated for this series in order to offer some experience in the middle order, and he demonstrated that in the last game. In difficult circumstances, he made 49 runs, including four boundaries and one six, to lead his team in scoring. Mahmudullah will try to seize the opportunity since Bangladesh hasn't yet revealed their World Cup roster.

5. Towhid Hridoy:-

In the previous game, Towhid Hridoy suffered an uncommon failure and was easily eliminated. However, he just had a fantastic Asia Cup, finishing the competition with two consecutive fifties. Hridoy is an essential member of Bangladesh's middle order and is a flexible batsman who can take on any bowling assault.

6. Anamul Haque:-

Anamul Haque participated in the first two matches but was given little opportunity; nevertheless, for the final ODI, he is anticipated to be in the starting lineup. It's because Bangladesh found it challenging to play Ish Sodhi in the previous game and he is a skilled spin bowler. Anamul is a skilled batter who has a good understanding of the environment.

7. Mushfiqur Rahim (wk):-

Mushfiqur Rahim missed the final group match of the 2023 Asia Cup against India because he had to return home to finish up his parenting responsibilities. However, he is back for the third game and will offer the critical middle-order help that Bangladesh lacked in the first game. Rahim is a player who excels in important games, therefore his presence will improve Bangladesh's prospects.

8. Mahedi Hasan:-

Mahedi Hasan utilised the conditions brilliantly and picked up 3/45 with the ball, making him the top bowler for Bangladesh in the most recent match. Along with scoring 17 runs, he added a respectable partnership with Mahmudullah. Hasan, who will bat as a finisher, has played some solid innings in his brief career and has the potential to succeed in the major leagues.

9. Hasan Mahmud:-

In the second ODI, Hasan Mahmud opened the bowling for Bangladesh and was effective during the powerplay. Even in the closing overs, he kept the scoring rate under check and prevented the Kiwi hitters from scoring. Hasan is a fantastic possibility for the club, and his teammates are counting on him to contribute with a few early wickets.

10. Shoriful Islam:-

The club has welcomed back Shoriful Islam, who will play a significant role. This game, which will take place right before the World Cup, will be significant for him because he is most likely going to be selected as the third seamer for the team. Shoriful has a quick bowling pace and bowls a hefty ball. His slower ones can raise questions in the batter's mind.

Given that the World Cup is approaching, Taskin Ahmed has taken Mustafizur Rahman's place for the third and final ODI. Taskin has excelled for Bangladesh in all formats and has emerged as their top pacer. He represents the largest danger to New Zealand, and by virtue of his existence, Bangladesh's bowling attack is quite potent.
