Players who would be compelled to quit from the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup due to injury.

Each team's primary concern prior to the important ICC Cricket World Cup in 2023 has been injuries. Several notable players will be absent from teams for the huge event in India. The management of the team finds this to be their largest difficulty and adjusts their tactics as a result. Before the Asia Cup 2023 began, Team India had a number of scars from injuries, but they gradually improved in all areas.


The players' fitness is another major concern raised by too much cricket action just a few days before the World Cup 2023 begins. Six World Cup competitors were on the pitch through September 27. Due to this serious injury, Rishabh Pant will miss the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2023. Pant was India's top candidate for wicket-keeping, but KL Rahul will now assume that role in addition to batting at slot no. 5 in the middle of the order.

2. Michael Bracewell (New Zealand) :-

The all-rounder from New Zealand was seen as an emerging talent and a player to watch out for at the ICC Cricket World Cup in India in 2023. But he was forced to withdraw from the entire competition after getting hurt while competing in England's local T20 league. While participating in a game of English county cricket for Worcestershire, Bracewell tore his right Achilles. Instead of him, Rachin Ravindra received the opportunity.

3. Wanindu Hasaranga (Sri Lanka) :-

Wanindu Hasaranga, a spin all-rounder from Sri Lanka, had an outstanding performance in the Lankan Premier League but also suffered a significant setback. Hasaranga suffered a hamstring injury that may need to be treated with surgery. Hasaranga won't be playing for Sri Lanka at the World Cup. Additionally, he was disqualified from the 2023 Asia Cup in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.


4. Dushmantha Chameera (Sri Lanka) :-

The 2023 World Cup will not feature speed bowler Dushmanth Chameera or the all-around spinner Wanindu Hasaranga. Although Chameera was making progress towards recuperation, he is still not entirely prepared for the World Cup. In August, Chameera suffered a pectoral muscle injury while competing in the Lanka Premier League. In pace attacks, Chameera led Sri Lanka.

5. Naseem Shah (Pakistan) :-

Naseem Shah of Pakistan was regarded as a player to keep an eye on during the forthcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India. In the Asia Cup 2023 super 4 round match against India, Naseem Shah suffered a shoulder injury. Hasan Ali has been given the go-ahead to take over for 20-year-old Naseem Shah, who along with Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf became a crucial component of the Pakistani pace attack.

6. Anrich Nortje (South Africa) :-

Anrich Nortje will again pass up the chance to represent South Africa on the biggest stage in cricket. Anrich Nortje has injured himself once more, much like he did at the 2019 World Cup in England, and has been ruled out of the competition beginning on October 5. Due to a lower back ailment, Nortje is out. He has been replaced on the squad by Lizard Williams.

7. Sisanda Magala (South Africa) :-

In South Africa's 15-person World Cup 2023 team, the 32-year-old Protean fast bowler was also injured and was replaced by Andile Phehlukwayo. Sisanda Magala needs additional testing and care for a condition with his left knee. Magala, a right-arm fast bowler, has represented South Africa in eight ODI matches.

8. Ebadot Hossain (Bangladesh) :-

After missing Asia Cup 2023, it was certain that Ebadot Hossain would also be ruled out of World Cup 2023 squad. Ebadot Hossain has an ACL injury, and players require an ample amount of time to recover from that injury. Ebadot Hossain will be missing in action for Bangladesh side in the upcoming mega event in India.

9. Jofra Archer (England) :-

Jofra Archer has not competed in a single competition since making his debut without suffering an injury. Jofra Archer has experienced elbow issues ever since he started playing for other countries. While representing the Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2023, Archer sustained yet another injury. He will travel with the England team for the World Cup.
